Fear Alert Level: Moist

The Ancient Warning

They found the first warning scratched into a cracked harbor bell: when the moon tastes of ink, count your arms twice. The bell was hauled from a harbor that no longer appears on reliable maps, unreliable maps, or the suspicious souvenir coaster behind the bait shop register.

The village ignored the bell because villages enjoy two things: maritime commerce and catastrophic confidence. By morning, the docks were slick, the gulls were quiet, and every ship in port had been renamed Absolutely Not Our Fault.

The Ancient Mariner Collection turns that doomed wisdom into wearable public-service panic. If somebody had printed the warning sooner, history might have needed fewer coasters.
