Astrocalamari fell through the storm above Blackwake Pier carrying a cracked star chart and the worst possible mission update: the cephalopod threat had breached orbit. Inside his retro space suit and glass dome helmet, Astrocalamari tracks signals from dead satellites, lunar shadows, and something beyond Mars that keeps whispering to the tides.
